What we need is a major engine manufacturer create a natural gas powered engine for cars. Have the government give incentives for alternate fuel (like they do for solar), and that would get the ball rolling. The Oil industry will never take that lead since they are going to milk the gasoline cash cow forever until the industry makes the change. I would buy a natural gas or fuel celled powered vehicle.
