Everyone I knew who loved Jags had 3 of them - I assumed it was because they
ran a third of the time.

My cousin is a mechanic, mostly works on German and Japanese cars. He got a
"Mechanic's Special" E-type 2+2 he was working on and he said it was a whole
different world from german cars. Don't know if he had the V12, but it did have
a lot of carbs.  :)
