|  Wipe my butt  |

In Taiwan, a lot of fuss arose due to an incident on an EVA Air flight between
Los Angeles and Taipei. An American passenger became angry because a cabin
employee did not wipe his buttocks on a toilet visit, according to Taiwanese
media.
The man, who had been brought on board with a wheelchair, could not go to the
toilet independently due to serious overweight and an injury to his hand. He
therefore asked cabin crew for help.
A cabin worker brought him to the Business Class toilet because he did not fit
into the smaller Economy toilet. Shortly after he sat there, he again asked
the employee for help.
The American said he did not succeed in getting his underpants all the way
down. The cabin employee first refused to assist, but after urging ("You
promised to help me!") She did it.
That did not stop the misery, however. After his underwear was down, the man
also asked for the door of the toilet to be left open. He said he suffered
from claustrophobia and was difficult to breathe with the door shut.
Whether the door has really remained open is not clear. But after the man had
done his job, he demanded from the stewardess that she wiped his buttocks. He
could not do that himself because of his broken hand.
The employee found the request very inappropriate and reacted irritably: "This
is really too much of a good thing. We only have female cabin crew on board.
Nobody can help you. "
But after the man continued to insist and other passengers were bothered by
it, the employee went on tack (with plastic gloves). Even then the man was not
satisfied. He shouted angry "deeper! deeper! ".
After he had returned to his chair, the cabin worker had to cry and throw up.
In a post on social media she writes that she was traumatized by the incident.
It would be a low point in her career.
EVA Air has now responded to the incident. The company emphasizes in a
statement to The Daily Apple that stewards and stewardesses are not obliged to
respond to such requests.
It is investigated whether measures are needed against the passenger in
question. The cabin assistant receives assistance from EVA Air in processing
the traumatic event.
