DG> I love the aviation info - keep it coming :) Will try. This echo was marvelous in the very early 1990-ies. There were several WW2 pilots active telling about their combat missions both in Europe as in the Pacific theatre. I lost that message base in an early disc crash and have looked for years if there isn't an archive around anymore. DG> BTW: longest in the world? There are many flights longer than 11hrs. Is DG> this one of the longest DOMESTIC(?) flights in the world? Domestic, yes ... but what is domestic ... From Amsterdam to Bonaire theoretically is domestic as well. But is that really? Same for Paris to La Reunion ... I know that Hawaiian has been toying with the idea of a Honolulu to London Heathrow non-stop. I mapped the circular route on the globe and it is very well possible with today's generation of 787 and A350. \%/@rd --- D'Bridge 3.99 SR33 * Origin: AVIATION HQ (2:292/854) |
