Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian expects his airline to realize positive cash
flow in the spring of 2021. He writes this on New Year's Day in a memo to his
staff, which has been viewed by the Reuters news agency.
 
Bastian expects the nationwide availability of the corona vaccine will be a
turning point for Delta Air Lines. He believes that once the vaccine is widely
available, it will particularly attract business travel.
 
In October, Bastian told investors that Delta will pay off debt as soon as
there is positive cash flow.
