After Saber, booking system Amadeus is now also banning the Russian Aeroflot.
As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the airline to sell
tickets through travel agencies, business travel organizations and online air
travel providers.
 
On Thursday it was announced that Saber, which is a major player in the US, is
banning Aeroflot. Now Amadeus has also suspended the distribution of Aeroflot
tickets.
 
Aeroflot, like other Russian airlines, is no longer welcome in European,
Canadian and American airspace. As a result, the state-owned company has
significantly reduced its flight operations. The no-fly zone is a response to
the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
