Rolls Royce has announced that it will no longer partner with Boom Supersonic
to support the construction of the supersonic Overture aircraft. This
concludes a two-year partnership in which the parties have studied various
engine options. Because no party had yet been found for the construction of
the engines, the farewell of Rolls-Royce is an extra hard blow for Boom.
