|  777 to the museum  |

The oldest Boeing 777 arrived on Tuesday at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Arizona, where she will soon be exhibited. The aircraft landed after a nearly 14-hour flight from Hong Kong at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and was then towed to the nearby museum by road. The Boeing 777-200, which carries the registration B-HNL, was the first 777 test airplane that Boeing built for certification. On 9 April 1994, the aircraft was rolled out of the factory and on 12 June of that year it made its maiden flight under great public attention. The B-HNL, which was still called WA001 at the time, continued to fly for Boeing as a test aircraft after the first flight. In 2000, the aircraft was transferred to Cathay Pacific, where it was used until this spring. The B-HNL was mainly used on routes within Asia.
