|  Virgin Atlantic less strict for crew  |
|  29 Sep 22 11:57:56  |
MSGID: 2:292/854 10425522 TZUTC: 0200 Virgin Atlantic will now allow pilots, cabin crew and ground crews to decide for themselves what uniform they want to wear. Furthermore, when booking a ticket, passengers are now allowed to tick an 'x' next to 'male' or 'female'. The British airline says it wants to become more 'inclusive' through the new rules. Earlier, the rule that female cabin crew had to wear a skirt was dropped, and the make-up can also be chosen. Recently it is no longer forbidden to have visible tattoos. Personnel who wear a badge with their name on it during their work can, if they wish, also have their desired pronouns applied to it. To embrace the diversity of backgrounds and life choices within the company and customer base, Virgin Atlantic offers special training courses for its staff. --- DB4 - 20220519 * Origin: AVIATION ECHO HQ (2:292/854) SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/0 80/1 90/1 105/81 106/201 120/340 123/131 129/305 SEEN-BY: 153/7715 221/1 229/110 111 112 113 275 317 400 424 426 428 SEEN-BY: 229/470 664 700 280/464 282/1038 292/854 8125 301/1 317/3 SEEN-BY: 320/219 322/757 335/364 342/200 396/45 460/58 633/280 712/848 PATH: 292/854 229/426 |
