On an Aerolineas Argentinas flight from Miami to Buenos Aires, at least
fifteen people were injured on Thursday due to heavy turbulence. Eight of them
had to go to the hospital on arrival for extra check-up.
 
The turbulence took place halfway through the flight. Because the crew could
provide adequate medical assistance, it was not necessary to divert and the
Airbus A330-200 could fly to the final destination. According to Argentina
media, there were 192 passengers on board.
