   A Northbrook man has been charged in the sexual assault of a 6-   
   year-old girl in Glenview, according to authorities.   
      
   Martin Flores, 25, was arrested on Tuesday and was charged with   
   predatory criminal sexual assault of a child in connection with   
   an incident that happened Saturday, according to a Glenview   
   police press release.   
      
   Flores, of the 3600 block of Salem Walk, appeared in bond court   
   Wednesday and was ordered held on a $250,000 bond, according to   
   Tandra Simonton, spokeswoman for the Cook County State's   
   Attorney's Office.   
      
   If Flores posts bail, he has been ordered to be placed under   
   electronic monitoring.   
      
   Simonton said the 6-year-old girl was assaulted at a Glenview   
   home following a birthday party that was held there.   
      
   Simonton said Flores admitted to police that he assaulted the   
   girl.   
      
   She said if Flores is convicted of criminal sex assault, which   
   is a class X felony, he may face a prison sentence of six to 30   
   years.   
      
   As of this morning, Flores was still being held in Cook County   
   Jail, said Cook County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sophia   
   Ansari.   
      
   A preliminary hearing for the case is scheduled for Feb. 11 at 9   
   a.m. in the Skokie Courthouse.
