XPost: ba.politics, dc.media, soc.penpals       XPost: alt.burningman       From: kj@aol.com              Ever wondered if Obama has ever placed someone in jail because       he didn’t like him? Yup, he did.              What’s Obama’s beef against filmmaker and author Dinesh D’Souza?              1) He’s conservative              2) He’s outspoken              3) He’s donated money to the 2012 Senate campaign (over $20,000       worth)              4) In Obama’s eyes, that’s too much money              5) D’Souza has been critical of Obama in his books and films.              6) That makes Obama mad.              Obama’s indictment of D’Souza claims that he used straw donors       for his campaign donations, and misreported it. Obama doesn’t       like that.              Gerald Molen, the director of D’Souza’s film 2016: Obama’s       America, believes the indictment is politically motivated.              “When American citizens begin to suspect that people are being       arrested for alleged minor violations because of their vocal       dissent against their elected representatives or rulers, it       breeds disrespect and contempt for the law and suspicion of       those officials,” he told the Reporter.              Molen calls this a “minor violation,” and compares it to the       IRS’s harassment of Republicans and tea party groups.              “In light of the recent events and the way the IRS has been used       to stifle dissent, this arrest should send shivers down the       spines of all freedom-loving Americans,” he said.              It really is true that we have become an America full of       criminals; all because we wear the badge titled ‘Republican’ or       ‘Conservative.’ Or ‘tea party group.’              Michael Moore made films during the Bush administration, and       Bush never indicted him. Double standard? Indeed!              Source: The Daily Caller              http://downtrend.com/emilyh/political-commentator-to-be-arrested-       because-he-is-critical-of-obama/?utm_source=Outbrain                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
