   Got a federal jury duty summons for 9/8  in Phoenix (200+ miles from here)   
   yesterday. One way to be excused is to be over 70 - hope they excuse me.   
   Letter says all excuse reasons not always accepted if person otherwise ok.   
   Big worry. Very expensive to go to Phoenix (fly, bus, ?), hire cab, find   
   courthouse, find motel near courthouse (expensive), etc. I suspect that   
   area of the city is dangerous. Never been to Phoenix. Why me?
