XPost: ba.politics, dc.media, soc.penpals       XPost: alt.burningman       From: wigga.brillo@yahoo.com              U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, (D-Fla.), apologized       Thursday saying that she "shouldn't have used" the language she       did when she attacked Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker Wednesday.              According to a Washington Post story, Wasserman Schultz, the       chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, used references       to domestic violence when describing Walker's record.              The Florida Democrat said that Walker, a Republican, had given       women "the back of his hand" by signing a bill that prevents       those discriminated against in the workplace from seeking       punitive and compensatory damages.              "What Republican tea party extremists like Scott Walker are       doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back.       It is not going to happen on our watch," she added.              According to a story from Politico, Wasserman Schultz, through a       spokeswoman, said Thursday that she "shouldn't have used" the       language to describe Walker's record on women's issues.              Her full statement read:       I shouldn't have used the words I used. But that shouldn't       detract from the broader point that I was making that Scott       Walker's policies have been bad for Wisconsin women, whether       it's mandating ultrasounds, repealing an equal pay law, or       rejecting federal funding for preventative health care, Walker's       record speaks for itself. As for the issue of domestic violence,       it's unacceptable that a majority of Congressional Republicans       opposed this critical legislation, of which I was a proud       cosponsor, after blocking its reauthorization for more than a       year.              Comments:              au92536 1 minute ago       For your own health -- don't EVER get between her and a       microphone. She just said she shouldn't have used the       words she used. Sgt. Schultz is the ugly face of the D-bagger       movement.              FlagShareLikeReply       NoMoBamabots: Willie Bell 6 days MIA       NoMoBamabots: Willie Bell 6 days MIA 17 minutes ago       The more she opens her mouth the better BHM looks for these       fools to come here DNC BHM 2016 BABY!              FlagShareLikeReply       pasman       pasman 20 minutes ago       typical of a hypocritcal liberal.....              FlagShareLikeReply       oldlawdog       oldlawdog 31 minutes ago       I wish politicians, all parties, would stop apoligizing. I want       one that when questioned about something they said looks dead in       the camera and says something to like this: That is what I said,       that is what I meant , I don't like the guy I hope he gets       cancer and dies along with his whole family. But I don't like       civil campaigns, sling mud, blood, and beer.              FlagShareLikeReply       udontownme       udontownme 37 minutes ago       Somebody needs to grab her by the hair and slap her ugly face.       Just the feminine perspective.              http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2014/09/wasserman_schultz_i_sho       uldnt_h.html                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
