XPost: ba.politics, dc.media, soc.penpals       XPost: alt.burningman       From: cade12@yahoo.com              This Mexican should get a medal and a pardon for enforcing       federal law that Obama is not!              Family members of a young mother whose husband and son found her       dead at work are asking the public for help in finding the man       suspected of killing her.              Osvaldo Fernandez-Aguilar, 23, is charged with capital murder in       the March 22 death of Maria Lucrecia.              German Chamorro, her husband, made a public appeal Monday       afternoon at Houston Police Department headquarters, while       holding the couple's 5-year-old son, Jonathan Chamorro.              "I simply ask that you help me, if one of you knows the person       who did this," Chamorro said in Spanish. "I don't want this to       happen to anyone else. No one deserves to die like this."              His wife, who was five months pregnant and expecting a girl, was       found strangled and beaten to death about 5:25 p.m. that Sunday       at a club where she was cleaning in the 6800 block of South       Gessner.              The couple had met earlier that day for lunch and then Chamorro       had taken the boy to play in a park, said Senior Officer Richard       Bolton.              Later, Chamorro tried to call his wife but she didn't answer,       which was unusual so he went by the club, Bolton said.              When he saw her mop and cell phone through the door, he called       the club manager, who arrived shortly, Bolton said. Together,       they went inside and found Lucrecia lying dead on the floor.              After the media released surveillance video showing the suspect       walking near the club with a bag of food, police received       numerous tips about the suspect, Bolton said.              Fernandez-Aguilar, who at one time worked at the club as a       security guard, is originally from Cuba but his whereabouts       remain unknown, Bolton said.              On Monday, police executed a search warrant at his residence and       found a purse that was reported stolen in a March 19 robbery in       the 7200 block of Bissonnet.              "We believe he may have robbed that woman as well," Bolton said.              Police said Lucrecia's assailant took money from a cash register       before leaving the club at the time of her death.              Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Osvaldo Fernandez-       Aguilar is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-       3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
