XPost: ba.politics, dc.media, soc.penpals       XPost: alt.burningman       From: fredw@dont-email.me              This is exactly why Ebola dogooders should be quarantined before       they set foot in back in the USA.              Kaci Hickox Nurse who was quarantined in tent after returning       from West Africa, where she cared for Ebola patients, said she       "doesn't plan on sticking to the guidelines."                     APcaveman8:02 AM+1       2       1              I have been trying not to comment on any Ebola article, but this       is shameful. How selfish, disrespectful and just plain       irresponsible. Screw you lady. Wait it out a few more days for       the possible sake of many others, please.              I say we do that same as Australia has done. Absolutley zero       inbound travel by ANYONE from West Africa. ?              Debra Cleaver8:28 AM                            +APcaveman , it's nothing of the kind. She's simply able to       understand the science involved. An elevated temp taken by the       unreliable and inaccurate method of a sensor on the forehead v.       oral thermometer is a logical point to make; one that the       airport neglected to mention.              As for inbound travel; there's a very good reason to not follow       your protocol. Quite simply, banning all inbound travel is more       likely to cause people to lie and find alternate ways into the       country, thus causing a greater exposure ratio.              Which sounds better: Controlled entry in which screenings take       place, or hopefully catching everyone at the border and not       being sure how many are being exposed? The more unknowns that       are introduced, the greater the risk for contagion.              It's disheartening to see that our failed border security policy       has taught us absolutely nothing. ?              APcaveman9:18 AM                            ?              APcaveman9:19 AM                            +Debra Cleaver Don't get me started on the border. I am on the       front lines of that and have zero sympathy for those people       anymore and I used to be completely on their side. NO MORE!!!       Yeah, I'm not rational when it comes to the border and illegal       immigration. I want like a three mile thick wall built down to       the bedrock from the Pacific to the Gulf. Ten miles of barbed       wire, land mines and tire fires on both sides of the walls. Two       moats of caustic chemicals and sentry towers every few hundred       yards with sound deterrents, 20mm Gatling Guns, flamethrowers       and rocket launchers. Yeah, don't get me started on the border.?              Debi Bid.9:22 AM+1       2       1              I agree with the first person - how just plain selfish of her.       What a me me me person. In the scheme of things what is a 21       day retreat.......you just sit your arse down and relax. To       have her say she is not going to obey, what a jerk she is.       Never want her working on me! She shouldloose her job.?              APcaveman9:36 AM                            +Debi Bid.       Yes, thank you.?              https://plus.google.com/+dallasnews/posts/3UEysBSAKLh                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
