   Linda Leann Wallace, 53, was a music teacher at Legacy Christian   
   Academy, Beaumont, Texas, when in 2006 she seduced a 13-year-old   
   student. Wallace continued having sex with the female student   
   until she left for college.   
      
   In 2012, Wallace resigned from her teaching position without   
   stating a reason. Two months later, school officials found out   
   about an ongoing criminal investigation into Wallace and the   
   sexual relationship with the former student.   
      
   On July 15, 2013, Wallace pleaded guilty to engaging in an   
   inappropriate relationship with a student and sexual assault of   
   a child.   
      
   According to the prosecution, the victim's family was severely   
   traumatized by Wallace's actions because she not only seduced   
   their young daughter but she was also a family friend.   
      
   Wallace was given a 16 year prison sentence.
