   Phil Simms said Monday he is leaning against using the nickname   
   "Redskins" when the team hosts the Giants on Sept. 25 in a game   
   that will be broadcast in prime time on CBS.   
      
   "My very first thought is it will be Washington the whole game,"   
   he told The Associated Press at CBS' preseason NFL media   
   luncheon.   
      
   He told the AP he is not necessarily taking sides in the debate   
   over whether the nickname is offensive but is being sensitive to   
   complaints about it.   
      
   "I never really thought about it, and then it came up and it   
   made me think about it," he said. "There are a lot of things   
   that can come up in a broadcast, and I am sensitive to this."
