The father is not being named so       that the child is not identified.              Frolander is being held without bail in the Volusia County Jail       following the July 18 incident. Investigators said the suspect       confessed to assaulting the boy, according to the paper.              Police say the father beat Frolander with his fists after       walking in on the abuse. The father has not been charged.              The boy later told investigators that Frolander had been       molesting him since he was 8 years old.              The father told the newspaper his son is doing well. "[My son]       is not letting anything keep him down," he said. "He talks to me       about [the incident] because we have that in common."              The dad told the News-Journal that he too had been sexually       abused, by a male family member, when he was 4 years old. He       said he never told his mother about it for fear that his abuser       would harm his family.              "I was a little boy, I believed him," the father said. "I didn't       say anything about it until I was 25 years old.... [My son]       wants other kids to know that it's okay to talk about it, that       there's nothing to be ashamed of."              http://www.cbsnews.com/news/florida-teen-accused-of-molesting-       boy-11-to-get-hiv-test/                                     --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
