XPost: ba.politics, dc.media, soc.penpals       XPost: alt.burningman       From: gcroche@outlook.com              DENVER – A man who was quickly branded a "selfie stalker" after       his picture turned up on a crime victim's cellphone is suing       television commentator Nancy Grace for defamation.              In a lawsuit filed Monday in Denver, Ben Seibert says Grace, who       hosts a show on Turner Broadcasting's HLN network, refused to       stop airing his photo, even after police had cleared him of any       wrongdoing.              Police have said the victim was fearful because she believed       Seibert's picture had been taken inside her home. But further       investigation showed it was his Facebook photo taken elsewhere.              On her show, Grace called the photo a "textbook serial killer's       calling card." The suit, which seeks more than $100,000 in       damages, says Grace humiliated and harmed Seibert.              Turner Broadcasting did not immediately return calls seeking       comment.              http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/11/10/denver-man-wrongly-branded-       selfie-stalker-sues-tv-commentator-nancy-       grace/?intcmp=ob_article_footer_text&intcmp=obinsite                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
