XPost: rec.arts.tv.news.oreilly-factor, alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, a       t.vietnam.veterans       XPost: soc.culture.soviet       From: multiple.felonies@hillaryclinton.com              Martha Stewart, known for a variety of things but mainly for her       show and for her books, has always ventured through different       business aspects. Giving that comforting vibe when seen on her       show, Martha Stewart Living, one would never think negatively       about someone who seems so genuine. In the kitchen, making a       batch of brownies and giving insightful recipes to her audience,       seems like the typical Martha Stewart everyone tends to picture.              On this day, March 5th, 2004, Martha Stewart is convicted on all       four counts of felony charges for obstruction of justice and       lying to police. She avoided losses in her company by selling       all her shares of IMClone Systems and it turned out to be a       bigger mess than just selling shares. Martha knew that she would       be losing money after receiving information from her broker and       it turned into an ordeal of conspiracy and lying to federal       investigators.              After five months in prison, Martha Stewart was released and       placed on home arrest for another five months. Regardless of her       sentence, Martha Stewart returned back to action strong,       resurfacing on her television show, while working on her       clothing line that can be found at retail stores.              http://www.famousdaily.com/history/martha-stewart-convicted.html                      --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
