   As far as a lot of the care for military veterans, the federal   
   government is required to provide for a common defense even though the   
   framers of The Constitution were uneasy with a large standing army   
   because of the power it would give a central government over the states.   
   Military veterans deserve good care because of their service to the   
   country. The only problem is the feds are badly mishandling it   
      
   Oh yea, Social Security, the few folks allowed to opt out of Social   
   Security are a hell of a lot better off than those forced into it at   
   gunpoint by the federal government. Those few allowed to opt out, put   
   their money into investments that pay them much more money when they   
   retired than they received while working. ^_^
