A good financial and asset buffer is required as we all get older and if
he is the person mentioned and shown by following up on all the cites
given, then I do feel rather sorry for him. At his age, it can't be all
that easy to be in his situation.

Perhaps that is just a front that he hopes wont be seen through. That
sort of fantasist is common enough on usenet. We've got someone in the
group in which I usually post who claimed he "has a direct line" to our
domestic security service. I would bet the farm o what I know of that
organisation and our poster that the only contact between him and that
organisation would be from them keeping an occasional eye on him because
he's a far right wing nut job.
