   Once again Adam Schiff did an awesome job of conducting the second chapter of   
   the Impeachment hearings.  Again, the Trump-defending Republicans were left   
   crying "not fair!" and "not transparent!" as they huddled in dispair at the   
   end of the hearing.   
      
   Perhaps the American public will give some credence to their transparency   
   cries if they see Trump release subpoena'd witnesses to appear before the   
   hearings - instead of insisting they be given "constitutional immunity".     
      
   Perhaps the American public will give the Trump-defending Republicans a   
   modicum of respect when they see Trump release the personal notes compiled and   
   provided by the appearing witnesses in the hearings.  These witnesses'   
   personal notes are being    
   withheld from the hearings by Trump and DOJ/William Barr.   
      
   Until these obstructions - on the part of Trump and his white house stooges   
   are removed, their wailings about lack of transparency must continue to be   
   relegated to where they rightfully belong - the Republican dung heap.   
      
   And this was a nice touch to the end of today's testimony from Marie   
   Yovanovitch: she got an ovation from many in the chamber as she exited the   
   hearing with her lawyer and legal staff.
