   Rep. Andy Biggs has long been one of the big thinkers inside the House   
   Republicans' Freedom Caucus, an increasingly influential epicenter of the   
   conservative movement.   
      
   But on Tuesday, the Arizona Republican was admittedly swinging for the   
   fences with his one wish for President Joe Biden's State of the Union   
   address.   
      
   "Well, what I want to hear is that he's resigning and taking Kamala Harris   
   with him. But I don't think I'm going to hear that," Biggs said during an   
   interview with Just the News on the John Solomon Reports podcast.   
      
   "So what I expect to hear instead is kind of what I heard, been hearing,   
   that the economy's great, people are back at work, you know, wages are   
   up," he added. "They're going to deny, he's not even going to mention   
   inflation. Probably he's not going to talk about how even as wages are up,   
   they're being subsumed by the inflation rate, which is higher than the   
   wage rate increase.   
      
   "He's not going to talk about the impact of supply chain issues. Still a   
   number of people who refuse to work and have simply given up and then we   
   still have over 11 million people out of work who normally would be   
   working and then so I think he's gonna basically deflect."   
      
   Biggs' comments were part of a well-organized Republican effort ahead of   
   Biden's speech to provide an alternate picture of the state of the union,   
   focusing media attention on the issues that have driven the president's   
   approval down below 40% in many polls.   
      
   Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds was slated to give the official GOP response, but   
   House Republicans set up their own media center on Monday and Tuesday to   
   amplify their messages ahead Tuesday night's address.
