Yeah!  Wonderama!  For YEARS, their dance segment was set to "Long Cool 
Woman."  I have that song permanently stuck in my head because of Wonderama 
(both the Sonny Fox and the Bob McAllister versions.  Also Soupy Sales and 
Officer Joe Bolton (already mentioned by Joe), Romper Room, Bozo, Captain 
Kangaroo, and of course Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.

People here (Philadelphia, where I live now) have looked at me like I have 
three heads when they've mentioned Sally Starr and I had no idea who she 
was...
