Aherm.  First of all, it's bad netiquette to insult a moderator.  It's bad 
etiquette or netiquette to insult *anybody*, frankly.
Also, it was sketchy netiquette for people to start a conversation on a 
newsgroup about a tv show that isn't a highly advertised show on a major 
network without clarifying what it was, particularly since we have non-US 
posters here.  So my question was meant to get some detail on the subject for 
the entire general population here, not to save me the work of typing the 
title into Google.
If you had spent more than five minutes lurking here before posting ‹ which 
is considered good netiquette when you join a newsgroup ‹ you'd know that I'm 
not averse to research (far from it), and you might have read deeper into my 
post and gleaned what I was up to.
So, in short: get some manners, and calm the frick down, and maybe you can 
make some friends and enjoy your time here instead of immediately starting a 
fight with one of the people working to keep this a friendly place.
