Starfury, I've tried to start two new threads this week.  All new threads go
through hand moderation.  Our intrepid moderator (that would be Amy) hasn't
seen
them in order to moderate them.  Ergo...'wandering off into the ether', as I
said.

As for your objection, I didn't ask for a vote of confidence.  It's customary
here to do a quick hijack if a post is time-sensitive and the thread isn't at
any particularly intense state.

There are plenty of other posts for you to reply to in order to continue the
discussion about Pioneers of Television.
