short of removing all configured areas and re-importing a new and updated
list, no, not that i'm aware of... it is just one of those tasks that require
BBS operators to be aware of the change so they can make the adjustments in
their software and possibly in the lists they use to import areas if/when they
rebuild/reconfigure their systems...

i would say that this discussion should be "awareness enough" but it only
works for operators that actually read the area ;)
