-> Mass extinctions of what? Does what you're planning to post have a
anything to
-> do with science research?

Of course it has. Modern-day are involved in investigating several mass
extinctions that we are aware of, and probably many in the distant past
we are NOT aware of, but strong evidence of various sorts; geological,
paleontological, etc; indicate occurred in Earth's history.

Two sorts of `cycles' are being studied right now.

One, a 26 million-year cycle...and another, a 32 million year cycle, which
brings massive strikes by huge comets or near-moon-size asteroids that
cause catastrophic extinctions of life forms.

The modern-day study of large craters from past strikes indicate such
strikes come in `swarms' of various number-objects in a cycle, and have
effect on life forms both on land AND in the oceans.

As the Solar System goes from above to below the Galactic Plane,
changes in gravitational influences caused by both Dark Matter and Dark
Energy, have effects on both the Earth's molten core temperature, and
climate changes on the surface.

Earth's tectonic plating is constantly in motion, the motion showing up as
earth quakes and volcanic eruptions.

The Earth (along with the entire Solar System) is moving through space
at a tremendous velocity. It orbits the Galactic center once every 250
million years.

We are (roughly) 30,000 light years from the center. Doing the math
shows we are moving at a high velocity. As an example, doing the math
we see the Earth move over 500,000 miles in a 24 hour period in it's
orbit around the Sun. Our motion around the Galaxy is even greater.
Cosmic Rays and gravitational influences have an effect on Earth as we
travel. It probably causes geological and biological cycles we aren't aware
of, and might never become aware of due to the blink-of-an-eye time scale
of Human existence.

I'm trying to steer this echo in the direction
-> concerning events of today and what science is planning for the future.

As long as you don't get into the area of "...the occult, supernatural or
mythological..."...they'll probably go along with you.

"...the occult, supernatural or mythological..." being at the close-minded
discretion of those who hate truth.
