Mr Hellyer has been gone for many years I think.  He was a lousy defence
minister as well.  He screwed up the Canadian Military so much that today it is
slowly returning to where it was with some exceptions.  The RCAF is back the
RCN is back, etc.  I was a serving member at the time this idiot did what he
did.  He, like another great leader (yeah right), made to the lofty rank of
corporal when he served.  That is a plus on  his side.  Other then that, he
came out with a lot of unbelievable stuff after h e retired
