I'mm sure you'll hear from others more knowledgeable on this, but what I do is 
be VERY specific, and not use wildcards at all. :)

Bracket the File/Echo name with a caret (^) to start, then a dollar sign ($)
at 
the end. It works for File and Echo areas alike.

My note to self I pasted on the side of my computer says:

  BRoboCop: Echo/File +^x-x$

Works every time :)
