A BZ script would work across platforms so I think that's the right direction.

I have been thinking of creating an auto message for BBBS using a BZ script so
I may (I will be) be looking for pointers. I should note that I am not a
programmer!

So far I have the auto message displaying on the BBS.

Now I need to work out the BZ script so users can change the auto message.. :)
