My first BBSs were from the mid 90's although I don't have a backup.

The current upgrade package has a light htdocs directory. It is missing a
bootstrap and jquery directory. You only need those if you want to run the web
server.

I have an upgrade package from 2019 that has those directories if you need it
let me know and I'll get it to you.

I upgraded from 4.01 Flag without any issues. Keep a backup of course.. just
in case.. :)
