I should have said although I am having these issues when I log in
locally i can use IRC chat (its slow when connected). I was on my BBS
locally yeasterday conncted to irc.bbs-scene.org chatting to echicken.
mIRC is WAY faster.   lol


And I should have memntioned that the email works locally. I can write
email while logged in to the BBS locally and it will show up in my
Yahoo.com email account a few minutes later.  And when I reply I'll
get it on the BBS.
