ml> then there's restarting jamnntpd so that it recognises the updated config ml> files... how'd you handle that? When jamnntpd starts I have it record it's PID in /var/run. When a new user is added, the users.dat file's timestamp chages. I have a script that checks the timestamp of the users.dat file every hour, if the timestamp is new then it kills the pid and restarts jamnntpd. |08[|07=|15! frank|08/|15netsurge|08%%|15bbs-scene.org|08%%|15demonic |08[|07=|15! misery bbs |08- |15miserybbs.com |08[|07=|15! bbs-scene.org |08- |15where the cool kids hang out --- Mystic BBS v1.10 A20 (Linux) # Origin: misery bbs / miserybbs.com / scinet approved (77:1/502) * Origin: FidoNet <-> SciNet EchoGate!
