I am running vY2Ka2 .. I do not like the newer versions of renegade because 
menus now have to be edited within renegade and are saved as binary and I 
prefer to be able to edit my menus with a text editor. So no.. PDZ did not 
come installed by default .. so .. I am thinking if I snatch the protocol.dat 
file from a newer version of RG it MAY solve my problems ..

Yes, I AM using NetFoss so there shouldn't be any issues... I'll give it a 
whirl ..
