Not what everyone else is doing. Find that classic BBS > software that very few people are running and make it work! This is run from my home computer. It is up and working and was hard to get that way. Now I'd like to do what Ioram is doing and have an ssh option with a default login and password (he uses bbs/bbs) then force the actual bbs software to handle the rest of the autentication. The web site is also ran off of my home computer, not an external server. The telnet server is run from my home computer as well. Everything is. I wouldn't consider it a legit bbs if someone else was hosting it. --- Shurato, Sysop Shurato's Heavenly Sphere (telnet, pop3, ftp, nntp) (ports 23, 110, 21, 119) shsbbs.ddns.net (shoutcast at 8000) *** THE READER V4.50 [freeware] --- * Origin: Shurato's Heavenly Sphere shsbbs.ddns.net (1:340/1101) SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/0 90/1 104/115 116 105/81 106/201 114/706 709 710 SEEN-BY: 114/711 712 120/340 123/131 128/73 187 253 255 129/305 153/7715 SEEN-BY: 226/30 227/114 229/110 111 112 113 114 200 206 307 317 400 SEEN-BY: 229/424 426 428 470 550 664 700 266/512 282/1038 292/854 SEEN-BY: 305/1 310/2 312/2 317/3 320/219 322/757 340/400 342/200 396/45 SEEN-BY: 460/58 633/280 712/848 3005/1 PATH: 340/1101 400 15/0 229/426 |
