   An independent needs money to run a campaign so no different there.

   If that independent hasn't run before there is no track record, and the   
   track record of an independent is no different than that of any one single   
   MLA   
   representing a party since much of that so-called "corporate influence" (and   
   on the left "union influence") doesn't get into the local MLAs campaign   
   funding.

   A few independent voices have done the same thing, no different. That   
   so-called "Civic Independents" led by Harcourt wasn't exactly   
   independent voices at all, they were following the wishes of Mike Harcourt   
   for the most part.
