   What is with the newscasts/anchors on GlobalBC and CTVBC?  Specifically   
   the morning newscasts.   
      
   These folks act like complete immature buffoons resembling a flock of   
   giggling teenage girls.  Friends in Washington State have commented to   
   me how they watch these stations for the "joke" and are amazed at the   
   unprofessionalism and immaturity.   
      
   Why do these anchors so desperately feel the need to make everyone   
   watching to "like" them?  Can't they simply just report the news with a   
   professional demeanor as opposed to turning the event into a popularity   
   contest?   
      
   I find it pathetic.
