   I spent ten years in Vancouver from 1985 to 1995 and was   
   back for a short visit in September 2004.   
      
   While I was in Vancouver I hung out at the UBC grad   
   centre (Thea's and Koerner's), where I booked the   
   live music for a while, and at The Railway Club,   
   W.I.S.E. Lounge/Hall, Yale, Town Pump and Commodore.   
      
   So what are the hot new live music venues in Vancouver   
   and what new Vancouver bands should I check out online?   
   Few Vancouver bands make it past Halifax to here in St. John's.
