   If this was the first time you'd claimed such a thing it might be   
   interpreted as hopeful optimism, but you've been making the same claim   
   for 16 years.  How is it possible for someone to make the same claim   
   year after year and still remain unvindicated?  It defies statistical   
   probability.   The "Karen Gordon Effect" would be a good name for the   
   phenomena, defined as the inversely proportional relationship between   
   Karen's grandiose predictions and the chances of those predictions ever   
   coming true.
