   Didn't I just finish telling you about the Karen Gordon Effect?  It   
   doesn't matter how well the NDP is doing, doesn't matter how high NDP   
   poll numbers are, doesn't matter that the NDP occupies Stornoway... what   
   matters is that whatever Karen Gordon predicts, whether driven by sheer   
   projection of will, crossed fingers or clenched butt cheeks, it's   
   GUARANTEED that everybody will be laughing hysterically at Karen the day   
   after an election.
