      XPost: bc.politics, van.general, vic.general       From: ConsR@min.ca              It's sorta like putting the seeds of a noxious weed into the compost and then       spreading it over       the garden in the Spring . . . .       ________________________________________              June 28, 2012              B.C. premier brings back former Campell press secretary Mike Morton                     VICTORIA — Premier Christy Clark is bringing back one of former premier Gordon       Campbell’s       communications team as her new press secretary.       Mike Morton says he’s coming out of retirement to work with the premier.              Morton, who served as Campbell’s press secretary for much of the former       premier’s three terms,       says he starts working with Clark on Tuesday.              Sara MacIntyre, who has been doing press secretary work for Clark, will focus       on her duties as       the premier’s director of communications.              MacIntyre was brought in to Clark’s team from Ottawa where she was working       with Prime Minister       Stephen Harper.              She replaced former television reporter Chris Olsen who was Clark’s original       press secretary       and was let go earlier this year after less than a year on the job.                     ****************************************************************       ***************        We hang the petty thieves and elect the greatest ones       to public office.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
