XPost: bc.politics, van.general, vic.general       From: ConsRcons@cda.ca              Nor will all the taxpayer dollars Christy Clark is spending on TV ads       and propaganda BEFORE the official campaign begins in about a week.       That will only add fuel to the fire already burning under this       disastrous government.       ___________________________________                     CBC News - Apr 9, 2013                     B.C. Liberals turn out for Vancouver fundraiser                     With just one week to go before the official start of the B.C. election       campaign, 1,800 people paid $400 a plate to hear B.C. Liberal Leader       Christy Clark take aim at the NDP at a fundraiser in Vancouver last night.              Clark told the crowd the Liberals still have a chance to turn the polls       around before the election, but her real focus was explaining why she       thinks voters can't trust Adrian Dix and the NDP.              "You know how we got six consecutive credit downgrades in the 1990's? We       got it 'One practical step at a time,'" said Clark, taking at shot at       the NDP's new campaign slogan.              Clark got a standing ovation, but a number of people commented on the       lack of enthusiasm in the room.              The latest poll from Angus Reid has put the Liberals about 20 percentage       points behind the NDP.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
