   Vancouver police have confirmed that human remains found in the waters   
   of a False Creek marina on New Year's Eve are that of a 25-year-old man   
   missing since attending a Christmas party two years ago.   
      
   Police confirmed that Matthew Huszar's remains were found around 9:30   
   p.m. on Tuesday night and that foul play is not suspected, ending a   
   two-year search.   
      
   Several weeks ago, Huszar's family once again appealed to the public to   
   help them find their son, who disappeared without a trace after a   
   Yuletide party in Gastown on Dec. 16, 2011.   
      
   He was last seen leaving the Lamplighter Public House to return to his   
   shared apartment in the Commercial Drive area of East Vancouver that   
   night just before midnight.   
      
   Huszar's parents put up a $10,000 reward last Christmas for information   
   on his whereabouts.   
      
   A forensic examination identified Huszar and there is nothing suspicious   
   about his death, according to the VPD news release sent out late Friday.   
      
   His family has been notified, according to the release.
