   Wow, 7 weeks ago there was an actual real thread in van.general for the   
   first time in...how many years? and I missed the whole thing!   
      
   I agree that a deep water port or oil tanker activity in False Creek is   
   not going to happen, but a barge terminal on the Ocean Concrete   
   site isn't completely in the realm of fantasy. Ocean Concrete already   
   gets most of its raw materials shipped to it by barge; there's often a   
   barge moored right beside it. Google Maps' current satellite photo   
   clearly shows one.
