   Just before Michael Zehaf-Bibeau shot dead a soldier at the war   
   memorial he explained his motivation in a one minute video on his   
   phone. For over 4 months that motivation has been witheld from us but   
   tomorrow, under political pressure, it will be released.   
      
   The big question is, who was being protected by concealing the video.   
      
   In advance of the release, CBC is softening us up to expect Harper's   
   foreign policy as the motive. At one point the RCMP bosses wanted to   
   censor part of the video. It will be important to see the entire clip   
   and not just those parts that the controlled media will flash on our TV   
   screens.   
      
   Remember, Bill C-51, the terrorism bill, was fuelled by this crime and   
   the one 2 weeks earlier. There were political reasons for spinning the   
   motives as "radicalization" ... which implies not a rational motive.   
   We'll see. The shoot-to-kill policy ensured the perpetrator would not   
   have his day in court.   
      
   How the media spin the video will itself be interesting. The controlled   
   media did not apply pressure to get the video released.
