   He's right . . .  but those from Alberta just don't get it . . .   
      
   They've relied on what they can extract from the soil for so long that they   
   can't think of other industries that they should be growing - or even starting.   
      
   Nenshi keeps repeating that they're 'an oil province'.  Brad Wall bleats the   
   same from Saskatchewan.  Even Rachel Notley thinks that the oil industry   
   somehow needs reviving for her province to survive.     
      
   I guess it's going to take a $10/barrel oil price - over a few years - to make   
   them wake up and smell the coffee.  They can start anytime. . . . the   
   opposition to more pipelines never came at a more appropriate time.  Only the   
   very stupid or the very    
   greedy won't recognize that.

   OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday said   
   the domestic economy consisted of much more than natural resources, striking a   
   more upbeat tone just days after saying low oil prices and a weak Canadian   
   dollar were doing    
   widespread damage.   
      
   "The low oil prices are a challenge but the Canadian economy is a lot more   
   than just natural resources," he told a televised session of the World   
   Economic Forum in Switzerland.
