Folks in the Sasamat Towers on W. 10th in Vancouver are talking about bringing   
   back the SoCred, just like they brought back Bourassa (Babs) in Quebec, in   
   1985; however, the comparison doesn't fit.   
      
   Ryan lost to PQ in previous election and Quebec Liberal Party was rejecting   
   him and calling for new leadership.   
      
   Babs was fresh back from a Certificate on the EU and wanted to introduce ideas   
   learned in Quebec such as a Bank of Quebec that that would keep $CAN as   
   reserves and print Quebec dollars. That appealed to Nationalists.   
      
   Babs wanted to build a 2nd James Bay Hydro project. The province had high   
   unemployment.   
      
   There is a lot more, but you get the picture! The shoe doesn't fit.
